Members of Sunhaven follow the God of the Sun, Dayia, and the God of the Flora, Marigold.
It is believed that when Sunhaven was first staking their claim in the sands, Dayia cast their rays down upon the shores, blessing the sands of Sunhaven with their presence and power. Members of Sunhaven have windows or openings in their homes facing to the east to welcome Dayia’s light in the morning. Offerings such as sunstones, sunflower heads or petals, and gold pieces are left in a basin under these openings for Dayia.
When crops are freshly planted in Sunhaven during the spring and summer, red hibiscus bushes are planted on the borders of plant beds as a prayer and offering to Marigold to bless the soil with a bountiful harvest. It is believed that if you see a caterpillar in the bushes, Marigold has heard your call. If a red tulip sprouts in the bushes, Marigold has answered your call and blessed your lands for the harvest.
